What is the Village District?
The Village is an area running along Sainte Catherine East, the main street cutting through the City of Montreal. The neighborhood is home to Montreal's commercial gay district. It is a colourful area full of restaurants, bars and boutiques. It is an extremely inclusive and popular area which attracts a cross-section of Montrealers and visitors.
Do you have private washrooms?
No, there are four shared washrooms in the Bed & Breakfast. Each floor has 2 washrooms, shared by the guests of the 3 bedrooms on that floor.
Is there Parking available?
Yes, parking is free on Panet Street outside the Bed & Breakfast. Half way up Panet street is permit parking (beyond the one way signs) so make sure you get the details before taking a spot. Pay parking is also available not far from the B&B.
Is there access to laundry facilities?
Yes, washers and dryers are available for guests for a small fee.
Is there computer access?
Each floor has a desktop computer with high speed internet service -free of charge- for guests. We provide free Wireless access for laptops as well.
There are also several internet cafes in the area.
Why are there so many accommodations with the name "Auberge" in Montreal?
Auberge is the French word for "Inn." Thus, Auberge Belles Vues means "Beautiful View Inn."
