What is the
Village?
The Quartier of Montreal referred to as The
Village runs for many blocks along Sainte-Catherine Street
just east of downtown and Old Montreal (Sainte-Catherine
is the primary commercial street that cuts east-west
through the city). This neighbourhood is home to a large
gay, artistic and student community represented by a variety
of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and studios as well as
residential housing. The area is extremely popular,
inclusive and welcoming, which helps to explain why it
attracts such a large cross-section of Montrealers and
visitors.
Do you have
private washrooms?
No, there are four shared washrooms in the Bed & Breakfast. Each
floor has 2 washrooms, shared by the guests of the 3 bedrooms on
that floor.
Is there Parking available?
Yes, parking
is free on Panet Street outside the Bed & Breakfast. Half way
up Panet street is permit parking (beyond the one way signs) so
make sure you get the details before taking a spot. Pay parking
is also available behind the
B&B @ $20.00/day.
Is there access to laundry facilities?
Yes, washers
and dryers are available for guests at a small fee.
Is there computer access?
Each floor has a desktop computer with high speed internet
service - free of charge. We
also provide free Wi-Fi access.
